Responsibility
- to support the collection service to measured service standards, through the allocation of work to drivers efficiently and cost-effectively and the debrief with drivers upon their return
- to complete tasks where appropriate with the drivers including but not limited to; the conducting of investigation meetings where appropriate, managing driver performance against agreed targets and managing drivers if these are not being met
- to ensure that any accident or near miss documentation is completed and reported to the Site and Compliance Managers in a timely manner, including the completion of any appropriate insurance paperwork if necessary
- to maintain and build customer relationships through liaison with customers and deal with any customer queries, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard
- to liaise with maintenance contractors to ensure the planned vehicle MOT/service requirements are completed and the arrangement of additional/replacement fleet where necessary
