production manager

Responsibility

  • manage rental enquiries, issue quotations, and ensure efficient delivery of dry hire and rental orders
  • build and maintain relationships with trade rental and B2B clients
  • oversee sub-hire procurement and ensure competitive pricing
  • assist in pre-production, including technical specifications, resource booking, and quotations
  • act as project manager for designated rental projects, ensuring client satisfaction from negotiation to execution
  • provide out-of-hours support for active projects when required
  • maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • track and manage missing items post-hire, and handle invoicing for replacements as needed

Requirements

  • experience in show design software such as Capture, AutoCad etc
  • have a proven comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the following areas, Sound, Lighting, Video, Staging, Rigging, Power and Distribution
  • knowledge of sound design software such as SMAART, Systune etc
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • experience and Training on plant equipment
  • willingness to learn new skills in conjunction with skills and equipment as and when required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships and lead a team
  • hands-on experience with a broad range of lighting, sound, AV, and rigging equipment
