Responsibility
- welding materials such as mild steel
- welding to various thicknesses
- maintain the tidiness, safety, and cleanliness of the work area
- MIG welding, fabrication, and development on bespoke steel fabrications
- using varying workshop tools, plant, and machinery
- working from engineering drawings & specifications
- welding to a high quality
- measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, and drilling
Requirements
- experience in working with mild steel/steel industry
- ability to work under company Weld Procedure Specifications
- reasonable understanding of weld defects under visual inspection
- A good work ethic and attitude
- experience operating various fabrication machinery
- ability to read, understand and interpret detailed fabrication drawings
- MIG welding: 3 years
- fabrication: 3 years
