Requirements
- you must hold a minimum L3 childcare qualification, or equivalent, with a passion to upskill further
- be certified in all key CPD courses
- be a positive role model to our children and your team
- have strong EYFS knowledge
- previous experience implementing an EYFS curriculum
- experience of working in a baby room in a day nursery setting
- childcare: 1 year
Responsibility
- to liaise with the Manager/Deputy to ensure operational policies and procedures implemented by Creative Hands Childcare are adhered to, ensuring relevant legislation is met
- to cascade information to the team, via daily team briefs and other communication tools, ensuring all are updated on news and events
- ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with
- to administer first aid and medication as appropriate and keeping the manager informed of any actions
- monitor and record staff performance, discussing any concerns or achievements with the Manager, to ensure professional development plans are actively in place
