- CPG Logistics is a long-established company based in Fareham Reach, Gosport, in Hampshire, providing logistics services since 1978
- we are currently looking to recruit within CPG for the position of 1st Line Support Engineer
- CPG operates from state-of-the-art warehouses and is recognised as one of the UK’s foremost solution providers for both specialist logistics services and supply chain management
- we provide exceptional service to our customers and the majority of our new business is through recommendation or internal growth with companies
- the 1st Line Support Engineer will be reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager and will be supporting the business to be the first point of contact via telephone, helpdesk, and e-mail for your internal customers - responding in a timely manner
- be responsible for the daily IT checks and custom reports sent to clients, and to help with support queries in all areas of IT
- you will be self-motivated and enjoy making a difference through supporting those around you. You will be a hard working individual who enjoys a challenge and who can work independently as well as within a team
Requirements
- the ability to maintain an excellent manner at all times when communicating with others
- previous IT experience
- ability to install new PCs and software
- the ability to follow set processes and procedures
- SAP experience
- to have outstanding organisational skills
- the ability to grow and understand the priorities of the business, to enable effective time management
- basic IT networking skills
