pastry chef de partie

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards for up to 800 guests
  • follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and prep stations
  • collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
  • monitor food inventory levels and notify the chef or manager when supplies are running low
  • assist in the development of new menu items and specials

Requirements

  • previous experience as a Commis chef or pastry chef or in a similar role is preferred
  • knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
