CP SEARCH AND SELECTION is looking for employees for positions:

maintenance supervisor

  • maintenance supervisor

Responsibility

  • ensure all operational equipment is kept fully functional to minimise any 'down' time in the logistics operation
  • ability to carry out light repairs/decoration at both distribution sites, as requested by Logistics Managers
  • assume responsibility for issuing contractor permits once Risk Assessments and Method Statements have been obtained
  • ability to liaise with help desk regarding contractors to arrange larger repairs at the DC
  • record weekly/monthly checks undertaken i.e. sprinkler pumps/traffic lights/water temps
  • conduct and record weekly fire checks at both sites
  • response to out of hours call outs during non-operational
  • ensure that Company Health & Safety regulations are complied with at all times

Requirements

  • previously worked in a DC environment
  • flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • ideally can drive and has access to a car
  • is open to working shift patterns between 8am-10pm
  • good communication/interpersonal skills
  • atleast 1+ year experience in Maintenance/facilities/ health & safety assistant/ supervisor/coordinator role
