Responsibility

  • to ensure that high-traffic areas - particularly toilets and Cathedral entrance - are kept clean and safe
  • to replenish consumables as required
  • compliance with the Cathedral’s documented COSHH handling procedures
  • to follow a set task list, but also use own initiative when required
  • to ensure that work carried out considers the Grade I Listed nature of the building
  • to report any issues or hazards as required and to flag any recurrent or major issues to relevant people
  • to be self-motivated and able to work well alone
  • to work collaboratively with all Cathedral colleagues
