Responsibility

  • instructing contractors to quote on phases of development activity
  • obtaining quotes and instructing professionals/consultants for tasks as required. e.g. structural engineer, building control, warranties etc
  • reviewing and comparing quotations
  • booking contractors in to undertake works
  • obtaining quotes and plans for utilities connections
  • site safety – compliance and documentation
  • contractor management – checking site to ensure work undertaken to specification and timetable. Managing issues arising directly with contractors
  • preparing high-level timeline for each project and monitoring progress
