Requirements

Responsibility

  • conducting investigations into any failures in failings of any of CFL’s Policies or Procedures contained within the CFL Handbook
  • to ensure all customs processes and procedures are followed and that CFL is fully compliant throughout the operation, ensuring customs requests for holds on flights or shipments are actioned accordingly and presented in a timely manner
  • ensure achievement of the action points assigned
  • reporting any Dangerous Goods Occurrence’s to the CAA within 72 hours of any incident being identified
  • to ensure any accidents or near misses are subject to a thorough investigation and recorded accordingly
  • monitor on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis the department Operations Key Performance Indicators and take corrective actions when targets are not achieved
  • CFL is a regulated site under security and customs regimes, thus to ensure CFL are fully compliant with all aspects of Aviation Security, screening of material, vetting of all employees working within the facility and training of staff to the required standards in accordance with the Dft
  • establish and maintain standards of conduct and performance for all employees
