Responsibility
- operating our new CNC machine and 5 Axis Saw and ensuring they are smoothly run
- programming, setting up and operating the CNC machine and Saw
- omag 'Mill 4x' and 'Digitale' experience advantageous but not essential
- carry out daily H&S checks and general maintenance of machine
- handle materials appropriately and according to training guidelines to avoid damage to products
- work within tight tolerances using measuring tools such as digital verniers, tape measures, rulers etc
- ability to interpret line drawings is essential
- reporting any issues and liaising with our support teams in Italy to solve basic faults that may arise
Requirements
- demonstrable previous machine/workshop experience in an Engineering environment is essential
- experience with Easystone, CAD or similar software also advantageous
- CNC programming: 1 year
