Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements
- monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels
- maintain and create purchase requisitions, converting requisitions/demand into purchase orders
- purchase and stock management of raw materials, consumables and bought-in finished goods
- ensure that all outstanding orders are managed with confirmed delivery dates from the supplier
- to ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity
Requirements
- previous experience of materials planning ideally in a manufacturing environment
- knowledge and experience of using SYSPRO or other ERP systems advantageous
- understanding of supplier relationships and some experience of working with suppliers
- attention to detail with a diligent approach to work activities
