we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team and help support the day-to-day operations of our kitchen
the ideal candidate will have prior experience in a kitchen setting, good communication skills, and be a team player
the Cottage in the Wood is a Michelin Star Restaurant with Rooms located in the Whinlatter Forest, five miles from Keswick. We operate with a small friendly team over four days, Wednesday to Saturday
the successful candidate will be responsible for operating the dishwasher, cleaning and sanitising surfaces, and helping to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment
we are in a rural location, approximately 5 miles west of Keswick. Personal transport is therefore essential. We are unable to provide accommodation
hours are 7.30 to 16.00 Wednesday to Saturday, and 8.00 to 13.00 on Sundays. We offer 6 weeks holiday annually and a generous bonus scheme, which is paid in addition to the salary on a monthly basis
