Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- day-to-day management of the current Community Activities Programme, including managing two Project Workers and a team of CAP volunteers
- development, management and delivery of strategic plans including new ideas for programme growth and maximising attendance at current activities
- ensuring effective processes and procedures are in place for the smooth and safe running of all activities
- monitoring attendance and producing up to date service statistics and reports
- cotswold Friends is a local charity based in Moreton in Marsh, supporting older and vulnerable people across the Cotswolds
- we aim to combat loneliness and isolation and our voluntary services improve health and wellbeing and support independent living
- we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Community Activities Programme Manager
- reviewing, monitoring and managing Health & Safety and Risk Assessments to ensure the safety of volunteers and clients across all activities
Requirements
- experience of running a community-based activities / events programme or similar
- at least 2 years of experience in a line management role
- experience of developing and delivering strategic plans
- knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and COSHH
- the drive and enthusiasm to ensure the Community Activities Programme grows and thrives
- excellent communication skills and people skills to engage with staff, volunteers, clients and stakeholders
- ability to work as part of a close-knit team, ensuring client access to all charity services
- ability to multi-task in order to manage a wide range of service offerings
