Responsibility
- assisting in the design and develop control systems using PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- develop/review technical and testing documentation for control systems upgrades
- develop technical and testing documentation for control systems upgrades
- participate in site commissioning and start-up activities
- design, development and testing of PLC, HMI and SCADA software ensuring quality assurance throughout project delivery
- design, development and testing of PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- provide technical support to clients and other team members
- lead the reverse engineering of legacy systems for the implementation of new control and associated equipment
Requirements
- A demonstrated track record of expertise in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
- A strong background in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- project management experience
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 1-2 years of experience in control systems engineering
- minimum of 2 years of experience
- proven experience in converting PLC code from legacy systems to new platforms
