Responsibility
- accountable for shift performance KPI deliverables – covering safety, quality, productivity and cost
- leadership responsibility for shift performance – operational management and effective deployment of team members to meet productivity targets
- responsible for taking key production decisions in the absence of production manager
- deliver clear communication between the team and all areas of the business to give a clear and consistent flow of information
- driving Operational Equipment Efficiencies, focusing on continuous improvement & effective maintenance
- support the shift production team in completing production tasks – need to be prepared to be operationally & technically effective
- lead & deliver shift handover process including all shift reporting documentation
- work with the Quality team to manage any quality incidents including reporting, containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- management: 3 years
- FMCG manufacturing: 3 years
