Responsibility

  • the ability to work autonomously and without supervision while remaining accountable and motivated for your own success
  • assist in identifying and prospecting potential clients by conducting market research and leveraging industry knowledge
  • support lead generation activities by cold calling, sending emails, and participating in networking events to build a solid sales pipeline
  • contribute to building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing information on further opportunities
  • collaborate with the conference team to drive delegate sales revenue
  • assist in delivering persuasive sales presentations that highlight the benefits of attending and sponsoring our B2B conferences
  • contact and converse with a high volume of prospects generated both by yourself and that have been generated for you
  • provide timely and accurate sales reports and updates to management to track progress against targets and key performance indicators

Requirements

  • strong interest in sales and a desire to pursue a career in B2B conferencing and events
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey information
  • self-motivated and results-oriented, with a willingness to learn and grow in a target-driven environment
  • basic knowledge of the B2B conference industry, sponsorship trends, and key players
  • good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and support senior sales executives
