Responsibility

  • using Sage & QuickBooks experience
  • processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies if applicable
  • experience of multiple bank reconciliations - Sales and purchase ledger
  • preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
  • paying any invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • completing PAYE returns and payments
  • completing VAT returns and payments
  • verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
