Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to carry out gas servicing and repairs for customers throughout the Oxfordshire area
- you will undertake works in accordance with current gas safety regulations, health and safety regulations and CHS policies and procedures
- due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full, clean and current driving licence
- competently undertake gas servicing and repair works to the required legal standard
- undertake maintenance checks on gas appliances and systems
- test controls and safety devices to make sure that they are working adequately
- identify and repair gas leaks using fault-finding equipment
- replace or repair gas/water components
Requirements
- previous experience working as a Gas Engineer
- conversant with wiring central heating systems
- installation experience is preferred but not essential
- UHW10 – Vented and unvented hot water storage systems
- LPG is preferred but not essential
- confident in using IT technology such as iPads
- full clean UK driving licence
