fabricator welder
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- checking dimensions and thicknesses
- reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
- reading engineering drawings
- using appropriate PPE
- reading, understanding and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- tig Welding Stainless Steel between 2mm and 5mm into a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
- cutting and grinding metal
Requirements
- miG welding experience
- fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
- flux core welding experience
- experience of Tig Welding
- FLT licence
- experience of use of lifting equipment
- crane/sling Licence
- manual handling training
