Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- handyman required for 6 hours a day, split shifts Monday to Friday
- A brief description of the role is outlined below
- everyday maintenance
- weekly checks including fire alarm tests
- ensure properties are maintained to high standards and ensure things are in working order where possible
- carry out daily property checks
- we are at the centre of innovation for cleaning and maintenance, operating in many locations around the UK. We are actively recruiting for an experienced Handyman to be part of the maintenance team at a school in Alvaston, Derby
- undertake all routine maintenance tasks and minor general repair work as requested
Requirements
- must have both a good level of DIY knowledge and the ability to apply that knowledge
- will need to be flexible and have the ability to re-prioritise as the needs of the business change
- you will need a good understanding of the health and safety requirements of the role
- use of initiative to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
- must be hard working, reliable, honest and trustworthy
- able to work individually and as part of a team
- well organised with good time management skills
