Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- oversee all financial operations, to include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting as well as tax compliance and payroll
- manage company cash flow and ensure the availability of funds to support business operations
- identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements to optimise financial performance
- corporate finance; manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate
- contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
- ensure that the companies financial governance strategy and systems are robust, compliant and support current activities as well as supporting future growth aspirations
- ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed
- develop and implement all financial policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data is maintained and adapted in line with any regulatory requirements
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or recognised professional accountancy equivalent
- exceptional communication skills at all levels
- strong IT skills, always being ahead of new technologies
- ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
- ability to be agile and work within a faced paced environment
- meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- strong people management & leadership skills
- discrete financial background with at least 5 years in a senior management, Director, role with experience of hands-on operational delivery and budgetary responsibility from within a faced paced manufacturing environment
