Responsibility
- we are looking to recruit a Projects Design Engineer with a mechanical engineering background
- the Projects Design Engineer will primarily carry out bespoke product design and support product lines requiring engineering support
- coopers Fire design, manufacture, install and service innovative and bespoke Smoke and Fire Curtains for buildings. Our mission is to save lives through quality and innovative products and to raise awareness of effective fire protection solutions
- an element of project R&D will be required for bespoke work
- every day we put a lot of effort into making sure our colleagues are in an environment where they can work hard, be great and have fun along the way
- this will be to support post and pre order external & internal clients

Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; Master's degree preferred
- has completed Solidworks Essentials Official Training
- holds Solidworks Certification Associate and Professional preferred
- knowledge & experience with the design and manufacture of electromechanical products
- understanding of sheet metal flat patterns & Solidworks Sheetmetal
- hold knowledge & experience in design & installation within the construction industry and/ or with design products supplied & installed to the construction industry
