Responsibility

  • cooper & Turner are looking for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to complete a Level three apprenticeship to join their team
  • the desired apprentice will be fully supported throughout their apprenticeship and following their journey to a fully qualified Maintenance Fitter
  • roles & responsibilities
  • maintain and service all existing equipment and advise on any preventive maintenance within the company
  • maintain and service all electrical/electronic equipment within the site where approval has been obtained
  • to carry out all portable appliance testing on an annual basis
  • install and run services to new or re-located electrical equipment
  • the candidate will ensure that all work procedures are adhered to in a safe manner whilst maintaining a high quality of work, working towards the set deadlines and targets in the most efficient and productive way
