maintenance manager
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- carrying out inspections of the building to identify and resolve any issues
- scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance
- performing administrative tasks as required
- keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities
- developing maintenance procedures and supervising implementation, ensuring all contractors follow safe work practices
- managing relationships with contractors and service providers
- controlling and monitoring site deliveries
- overseeing the security of the building and facilitating access where required
Requirements
- proven experience as a building and/or maintenance manager
- experience in planning and overseeing maintenance operations
- A certificate as a skilled worker in one or more trades
- solid understanding of technical aspects such as plumbing, electrical systems, joinery etc
- ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance
- strong understanding of health, safety and risk management, including current health and safety legislation
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
