Responsibility
- providing financial information to the General manager, Nidec Group and Control Techniques plc
- helping the General Manager to design and implement appropriate business strategies
- advising the Management team about proper policies and procedures concerning the collection and presentation of financial data
- responsible for ensuring that the company meets its legal requirements under the prevailing Companies Acts
- set the standards of performance and attainment for immediate subordinates
- carry out Company Secretary duties as necessary
- provision of wage payments, deductions etc
- work related to the management of cash flow, taxation, shareholder relations, insurance and the law
Requirements
- chartered Accountant – CIMA or ACCA qualified
- in depth knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
- manufacturing experience
- very occasional domestic & overseas customer visits
- in depth knowledge of the structure of financial statements
- use of computer based MRP systems – Oracle would be preferable
- budget preparation
- spread sheet and financial analysis
