Responsibility
- B2B cold calling to build and maintain relationships with potential customers across the UK
- to cold call corporate organisations with an aim to develop new energy procurement leads
- to positively approach potential clients directly on a cold call basis

- to gain an understanding of a company’s current energy strategy, their requirements & pain points and advise of our services
- to gather Market and customer information by acquiring interest in order to create a potential sales opportunity
- develop and maintain trusted relationships with current and future customers
- to obtain a signed letter of authority from the customer
- to gain Bills and a letter of authority from the customer
- manage your existing customer accounts and renewals
- to deal with any objections that are presented with a view to turn the objection around in to an opportunity
- to achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue targets and KPIs
- ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant
- to accurately complete all customer details and sales information to the required standard on the organisations CRM system
- to represent the business in a professional manner at all times
- working closely with a Team Manager to maximise all opportunities
- pricing and presenting to decision makers
- to promote and present an in-depth proposal on our products and services including energy waste management, water services, merchant services and many more
- to actively approach larger end users for new business opportunities & to meet and exceed targets and KPI’s
- building and maintaining a customer pipeline
- to gather Market and customer information by acquiring interest and then collating the information from customers in order to create a sales opportunity
- uncovering and delivering new leads for energy procurement opportunities
- to attend training when required
- to adhere and promote the company values and core mission statement
- working as part of Corporate sales team alongside experienced senior procurement analysts who will assist all parties in ensuring the lead is closed
Requirements
- previous experience in telesales in either a B2B or B2C
- energy Experience is desirable but not essential
- sales within Waste Management 6/12 months
