Requirements
A background in building construction and/or Facilities Management with experience in managing building related projects and multi-disciplined technical project teams
good problem-solving skills, seeking solutions to site challenges and address problems
good time management and organisational skills to keep projects on a realistic timescale and budget
good collaboration, written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to produce and share complex information with key stakeholders and clients
experience of project managing building or construction related projects for a public sector body
ability to analyse and interpret data and information to support decision making
working knowledge of the CDM regulations, building regulations and planning
good level of interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to communicate professionally and tactfully to build constructive relationships
Responsibility
ensuring effective budgetary control with no underspends or overspends. Any budget issues must be brought immediately to the attention of the Director and client lead
