dumper driver
Responsibility
- operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- transport goods and materials to designated locations as per the delivery schedule
- conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption
- assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport
- perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as needed
- communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- valid Construction Plant Certification Scheme is essential
- paid on CIS - Must Hold UTR and National Insurance No
- must Have Right to Work
- proven experience in commercial driving or similar roles is highly desirable
- strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles
- ability to operate digging equipment is an advantage but not mandatory
- excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
