Responsibility
- to direct and manage the Company’s manufacturing operations and facility to maximise performance and achieve agreed targets
- lead the Company’s manufacturing operation to improve their competitive position and profitability
- manage and lead the production department
- plan work sheets and assign tasks appropriately and appraise results working closely with the Internal Sales Manager and the production team to optimise labour utilization effectively and within budget
- maintain and enforce standards of health and safety, quality, hygiene, and security policies within site operations. Take on site lead responsibility for all Health, Safety and Environmental reporting and escalation to Senior team
- identify and prepare site maintenance and improvement requests for senior management approval
- drive the development and continuous improvement of all business processing and operational policies and procedures. Ensure enforcement and standardisation of these procedures throughout all business activities
- raising JPs for cutting jobs, booking the jobs in the system
