Responsibility
- reporting including cost/value analysis, project completion cost/value forecasts, budget forecasting, etc
- prepare, submit and agree variations to our subcontract
- measuring and preparing a bill of quantities from drawings
- prepare and agree interim payment applications and final accounts
- provide a high quality technical/commercial service from pre-contract to final account, adopting the use of best practice and Conlon Ltd. commercial processes for a portfolio of contracts
- maintaining good cash flow and the timely receipt of payments
- to work closely with the Contracts Managers, Operational Staff and Purchasing Department to ensure on-site works are completed in line with Project Budgets
- responsibility for management of Sub-contractor orders and payments
Requirements
- extensive and detailed knowledge of Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Earthworks
- residential Groundworks knowledge / experience is desirable
- financial management understanding relating to Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Earthworks projects
- HNC / HND level or beyond in Quantity Surveying or similar
- quantity Surveying: 2 years
