Responsibility
- we are currently recruiting Care Givers/Support Workers, especially females
- we are looking for candidates with demonstrable experience of supporting people with disabilities
- it is important to note that there are 3 large dogs on the property
- no experience is necessary as all training is provided and training hours paid
- take care of the physical and emotional needs of the client in their home
- they are – by nature of the breed – high in energy
- staff are assisted to gain Diploma in Health & Social Care, and this is funded by the company
- have an understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of other caregivers, such as nurses and occupational therapists
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- relevant experience of supporting people with disabilities, previous knowledge of brain injury would be beneficial
- an NVQ or Diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
- good communication skills
- flexibility, ability to work days, nights, weekdays and weekends
- home care: 2 years
