Responsibility
- to ensure Key Accounts are handled effectively and efficiently - dealing with queries with a high standard of customer service
- building relationships with the Directors Key Accounts - being their first point of contact for any queries
- assisting Sales Director with customer support such as quotes, delivery information, image/literature requests, product queries, inclusion in tender completion process
- prepare Sales Meeting agenda & Quarterly Directors Meeting sales notes
- manage Leicester & London showroom diaries – first point of contact for visitors in Leicester, provide refreshments and/or lunches when required
- proactively identify new potential customers and make first contact with them to generate interest, organise initial meetings for external sales visits
- offer absence cover in main Customer Service workflow – order inputting, order checking, managing internal inboxes, answering phones, accurate filing
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role essential, dealing B2B rather than B2C is preferred
- sales/Account Management background
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- organisational skills and ability to multitask
- discretion and trustworthiness will be party to confidential information
- honesty and reliability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- there may also be a requirement to assist in the main office workflows when additional support or holiday/sickness cover is needed
- have excellent attention to detail, especially when preparing quotes and completing tender documents
