- con Mech Engineers is a local firm based in Stanley, Co Durham. We have over 70 years in manufacturing ground engaging tools, precision engineering and offer a world class heat treatment service
Requirements
- working with the engineering department to make improvements on both new and old programs
- solid understanding of tooling and its capabilities
- understanding of machining various types of metals, mild steel, tool steel and hardened Boron steel
- reading and understanding engineering drawings
- following process on works orders
- ensure a high standard of quality
- operating various Vertical Machining Centers FANC control systems. The ideal candidate will be fully familiar with these systems and ideally time served. Use of a 4 axis would be an advantage
- operating lifting equipment
