Responsibility
- this will involve coding of technical requirements, mostly in embedded C in addition to some experience of graphical user interfaces
- it will require a good understanding of hardware/software interfaces, and good software design and testing practices
- the duties include the selection of suitable hardware and software platforms, and testing methods
- this includes production of suitable procedures to transfer the code to the target equipment
- to carry out software design and implementation to meet company requirements for new products, upgrades of existing products and support of customers products
- responsible for operating and maintaining the company’s software configuration control system
- responsible for assisting the Manufacturing and service functions in all software matters as required
- responsibilities include commercial hardware specification for the envisaged application, the production of structured code, prototype and production testing, and all necessary documentation for transfer of the design to production
