- sourcing essential information on products and identifying suppliers
- obtaining and reviewing offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors
- foster relationships with key vendors
- liaising with Quantity Surveyors on more complex projects
- analysing construction documents
- creating bills of quantities
Requirements
- A stable employment history
- previous experience in joinery, multi-trade commercial sectors
- knowledge of the tendering process and able to deal with a wide range of cost planning issues
- you will be capable of easily visualising outline designs, drawings, and specification
- excellent communicator written and verbally
- good team player who also works well individually, can liaise with our clients, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- capable for overseeing tenders and have the proven ability to manage complex bids from initial enquiry, all the way through to the final submission to the client
