  • we are open to everyone to buy good quality pre-owned furniture and white goods at affordable prices
  • purpose of the Role
  • at Community Furniture Stores we are a warm, fun, friendly bunch, enthusiastic about what we do
  • people donate their items, which we then clean, repair and put out for sale offering a discount to those people on benefits and reducing waste in the process
  • we work closely with other Charities, the Council, and the York Financial Assistance Scheme to provide brand new essential household items such as beds and cookers, for no cost to the customer in need
