Requirements
- educated to GCSE std or greater preferably with further in-house or vocational training in food manufacturing practices and improvement methodology
- team player with a flexible approach to a variety of duties
- continuous improvement processes
- excellent communication skills
- VFFS machines and Multihead weighers
- computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
- SIC and performance measurement and management
- good attention to detail
Responsibility
- 2.7 Be accountable for control and management of Raw Material and Packaging Stock, its issue of, consumption of and the accuracy of data
- 4.1 Ensure that your work environment is kept clean and tidy
- 2.5 Ensure issued plan is followed and any deviation from this is discussed and agreed with senior management
- 4.4 Ensure the working environment is safe in case of fire. Responsible for identification of potential fire hazards in a building
- 4.2 Ensure that your team adhere to company dress standards for the factory environment
- 1.1 Induct, train and appraise staff
- 2.3 Agree Daily/Weekly Plan and monitor
