- comply with all health and safety legislation and local policies and procedures
- commercial and operational management of component suppliers and EMS production factories
- adhere to all organisational policies and procedures
- procurement of materials and semi-assemblies for production using results from MRP & MPS systems
- role model, support and implement the company values and behaviours with fellow employees, customers’, and any other stakeholders
- management of subcontractors’ productions in stock consignment
- respect equality and diversity across all areas of working practice and communications with staff, customers’, and other stakeholders
- management of Purchase orders
Requirements
- educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- minimum 2 years recent experience in Purchasing electrical products and/or components
- previous experience of working within a electrical product manufacturer
- experience managing long lead time products
- excellent knowledge of electronic passive, active and electromechanical components’ market
- good knowledge of plastic and metal market
- purchasing electrical products/components: 2 years
- working within an electrical product manufacturer: 1 year
