you’ll manage the events budget, using management information to accurately forecast income and expenditure to support resource planning within the College

applications are invited for the post of Conference and Events Manager to lead our small, friendly College Events Team. We have a reputation for providing an excellent events management service and put our customers at the heart of everything we do
as Conference and Events Manager, you’ll lead and manage the planning and delivery of face-to-face, virtual and hybrid events for the College of Policing, ensuring bespoke, customer-focused and cost-effective provision of services
in doing so, you’ll determine the best use of event resources for achieving strategic business objectives and furthering the College’s engagement with frontline policing
Requirements
previous experience of working in an events management role and of leading and managing a team
experience of establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and customers, and of removing unnecessary barriers to service delivery
experience of planning and organising your own workload and those of your team to ensure tight deadlines are met
ability to work in a pressurised environment, multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
