Responsibility
- capable of working to a tight programme, under pressure and if necessary to a pre-defined budget
- ability to develop expansive highly bespoke design solutions & finishes
- create technical drawings and project drawing packages, including space-plans, elevations and bespoke joinery drawings
- understand client’s brief and create concept presentations
- working with the studio director & our existing design team to manage projects from concept to completion, working on several projects simultaneously
- coordinate all elements of research, specification, sampling and delivery
- you will be able to resolve conceptual sketches developed both in house, and by the interior designers and architects we already have long standing relationships with
- create project schedules and costings
Requirements
- a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in high-end residential joinery, interior design or architecture
- diverse, creative portfolio showing all stages of building and interior design
- strong technical skills – AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, V-ray, hand sketching
- exceptional attention to detail
- excellent ability to think creatively and originally
- ability to problem solve and create bespoke solutions
- excellent knowledge of UK suppliers and manufacturers
- excellent knowledge of materials and how to specify them appropriately
