Responsibility
- shuttering joiner needed for small project in Glossop, can email the plans
- price work or day rate
- measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- assemble and install joinery components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
- install hardware and fittings such as hinges, handles, and locks
- repair or replace damaged joinery components
- collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, and roofers to complete projects
- follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- previous experience as a joiner or carpenter is preferred
- strong knowledge of joinery techniques and tools
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- proficiency in using hand and power tools
- commercial driving experience is a plus
- ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes is beneficial
- familiarity with masonry work or roofing is an advantage
