Responsibility

  • to deputise for the Head of SEND Support as and when required
  • monitor and report to a range of partners regarding early years education and childcare settings safeguarding practices and policies; highlighting and disseminating good practice and supporting leaders and managers to remedy any identified gaps
  • use LBS’ annual safeguarding audit to monitor compliance with the statutory requirements of the EYFS in relation to the safeguarding of children
