Responsibility

  • this is a temporary maternity leave cover position for a minimum of 9 months
  • maintaining a high standard of hygiene
  • helping Nurses in day to day tasks
  • cleaning & preparing accommodation for animals
  • assisting with preparing theatre & relevant equipment pre & post surgery
  • exercising, grooming and feeding inpatients as well spending time with animals, ensuring their comfort
  • feeding animals and looking after them whilst in our care
  • enthusiastic and motivated – happy to deal with clients, face to face and on the telephone; Good communication skills, good around animals

Requirements

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • compassionate and caring attitude towards clients and their pets
  • ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
  • veterinary experience: 2 years
