Responsibility
- develop effective test strategies and test plans within the projects
- we are looking for an Interim Senior QA Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing
- design, write and maintain manual and automated test scenarios via tools and features
- demonstrated ability to analyse business requirements, design documents and other project documents to determine risk factors and critical test conditions
- this role also includes responsibilities in automation testing
- execute automated tests and manage the bug log and help troubleshoot issues by investigation when things go wrong on production
- ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date
- identify and report to product teams questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies
Requirements
- minimum 5 years experience as a Senior QA Engineer or similar role
- understanding of risk based to testing approach and defining the mitigation plans
- proficient in defect verification, defect logging, and assisted of root cause analysis for timely resolution of defects
- experience using Atlassian toolkit – JIRA & Confluence
- experience working in a Scrum environment with active involvement in daily meetings
- experience in leading the remotely located onshore and offshore teams
- managing and keeping track of the releases happening
- experience in testing web and mobile applications using both manual and automation for e.g. Functional, Non-Functional, Regression, Smoke, E2E and API testing
