Responsibility
- every month, Craft Gin Club delivers boxes to tens of thousands of excited members across the UK
- goods In - Supporting the procurement teams with inbound logistics
- service - Agreeing and documenting costs and service level agreements with the 3PL

- each Gin of the Month box contains a full-size bottle of rare or exclusive craft gin and perfectly paired artisan snacks, mixers, tonics and garnishes

- dispatch management - Overseeing consolidation & dispatch activity on projects. Ensuring that the 3PL is dispatching orders on time, in full and within budget
- analysis - Analysing data sets and reporting performance to senior management, ensuring all orders fulfilled by our 3PL & Carrier are invoiced for correctly

- maintaining due diligence records and compliance for partners & suppliers & HMRC
- providing the operations production department with additional support as required
Requirements
- experience of B2C fulfilment and shipping highly desired
- experience managing high volume third party relationships
- team player

- at least 3 years’ experience in a similar operational role, with a proven record of working with 3PL and haulers
- an ambitious go-getter who’s used to whipping operational partners into shape
- highly numerate
- knowledge of moving and manufacturing excise goods would be beneficial
- takes ownership of logistics related costs and confidently challenges commercials to achieve the best result for the business
- good presentation skills
- we’re looking for someone who can really contribute to operational improvement
- proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with numerous internal and external stakeholders
- experience of dealing with alcohol duty and bonding would be a big plus
- ideally min 2+ years experience in a similar role
- comfortable working in a fast paced environment and resilient to change in a growing business
- used to setting, and working with, demanding operational SLA’s . Should be familiar with the day to day running of operational facilities
- must be comfortable in a dynamic, “start-up” environment
- ideally educated to degree level
- passion for building strong working relationships and open channels of communication
- thinking on your feet and proactively finding creative solutions to problems
- an individual who is comfortable working with operational partners. Someone who enjoys the cut and thrust of operations
- well-organized multitasker and deadline driven
- A person who can identify how we can improve operationally, and someone who is comfortable, confident and tenacious enough to push those improvements through to completion
