Responsibility

  • each day is active and fun, engaging with people to improve their lives through sport and the arts
  • we are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our team
  • to drive the Club 61 minibus
  • to promote service users choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights
  • to work as part of a team to provide meaningful daytime activities for our service users both at our base at SOAR works and in the community
  • the role would suit creative individuals who can contribute to planning activities and who are able to use their initiative to tailor activities to meet individual needs
  • would you like to join our small and friendly team? Club 61 is a small independent day care provider for adults with learning disabilities

Requirements

  • A cheery and caring disposition
  • the ability to get involved and join in activities
  • to enjoy working closely with others to promote a positive team spirit
  • A willingness to undertake necessary training
  • category D1 on driving license and willingness to drive 17 seater minibus
  • previous experience of care work not essential for the right individual as training will be given
