Responsibility
- this post would suit someone with previous generator experience having worked either in engineering or electrical power provision / installation
- cloudbass, an outside broadcast facilities provider is looking to employ an electrically competent Class C driver / generator operator to work in its Power Systems department
- with 8 large OB trucks, plus many smaller facilities and a wide range of work there is an opportunity to form a flexible role around your interests
- generators or large battery storage systems provide essential power onsite in many outside broadcast situations and the continuity and security of that supply is necessary to enable continuous programme output
- anyone applying for this post would be expected to be conversant with single and three phase diesel generators running as synced pairs and power distribution for temporary events and or installations
- electrical maintenance and installation at base would form part of your work, including electrical testing, portable appliance testing and some construction of new vehicles
- the opportunity to work on a range of exciting television OBs including Football, Motorsport, Boxing, Snooker, Cycling, Political debate shows, and many others
