- must have their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- have at least 2 year's experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people
- must have full UK work rights
- must have a full UK driving license
Responsibility
- performing household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and encouraging the children to keep their rooms tidy
- to use the home as a model to support and develop the social skills of young people
- to care for children when they are ill and, where necessary, administer medicines, drugs, and treatment under the guidance of the child’s medical practitioner
- to organise and supervise recreational and leisure activities both in and out of the home to provide the children with an exciting and stimulating life
