Responsibility

  • the Service Manager will also have experience and knowledge of Ofsted Regulations and Standards
  • we have a range of homes including homes which are staffed 24/7 and homes with floating support
  • provide leadership and support to staff and young individuals daily
  • our company ethos is to empower and enrich the lives of the young people we support
  • handle budgeting across accommodations
  • lead team management, staff training, and performance evaluations
  • we are seeking a Service Manager who is skilled, dynamic and committed to working with a range of professionals within Children & Young People’s Services / Semi-Independent and the care leavers Supported Accommodation sector, this will include working with the local authority and voluntary sector
  • as the Registered Service Manager, address and analyze complaints, working alongside senior management to spot trends

Requirements

  • degree or qualification in a relevant field such as social work, health and social care, or management
  • experience in managing supported accommodation or related settings
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of the regulatory environment and statutory requirements
  • ability to work with a diverse group of residents and staff
  • excellent communication, problem-solving, and mediation skills
  • management of a similar service: 1 year
